Preparation 

Before doing Sanding or Installation, technicians take good care from the start of each job by;

  • Removal & Disposal of existing floorboards/Carpet/Vinyl/Tiles etc. 
  • Taking off existing glues, pins and nails on the floor to prevent machine damage which affects the quality of the work.
  • Punch the nails down to make floorboards properly fixed onto joisters.
  • Putty the nail holes and gaps on the floorboards with the matching colour.
  • Plastic covering for dust-free sanding environment and tidying up existing cables.
  • Provide some help for furniture removal only (big furniture): Cost-free but cannot be responsible for any damages.
Service Details

Sanding/Decking 

We start sanding from lower girt (rough) sand paper to high grit (smooth) sand paper.

  • We use Belt/Edging/Orbital/Polivac sanders and Grinder to make your floor flat and level to be polished.
  • Standard procedure of sanding starts from 24/40/60/80/100 grit and finishing of with 220 grit or more depend on polishing style and material.
  • When staining, technicians to make the surface more flawless perform more delicate finish. Especially in corners, edges area to finish with the same smoothness.
  • Sanding the deck(decking) we are concentrated on leveling the deck.

Staining 

We provide samples on your floorboard to satisfy with the color you have chosen.

  • Extra delicate work is done on the floor when staining /Lime washing.
  • Applying the direct stain/lime wash with the chosen color after agreement.
Service Details

Polishing

We apply 3 coating with selected material as standard procedure.

  • Water based Polyurethane (Bona, Berger_Seidle).
  • Solvent based Polyurethane (Urethane, Fortis).

We apply 2 coating with hard wax oil as standard procedure.

  • Hard wax oil (Fiddes/Osmo,Livos/Pure tung oil).

We apply 2 coating with Cutek decking oil as standard procedure after going through the same sanding procedure to level the deck as expectation of the client.

Service Details

Repairing 

We provide repairing the timber floorboards with proper and suitable technique regarding the site situation (tongue – groove alive) when we are doing the sanding. 

  • Materials are supplied (Unless client has already purchased).
  • The repairing technique and the area that needs to be repaired is discussed and agreed with client.
Service Details

Installation

We install various types of floorboards (solid timber, parquetry, engineered, cork, etc) and styles (herringbone, chevron, boarder, etc) floorboards 

  • Extra care with leveling the sub-floor.
  • Cutting architraves and obstacles for the floorboards to go under to prevent any safety hazards or looking nice.
  • If requires, we lay underlay, water proofing with epoxy or polyurethane.

Concrete

Working on concrete, we provide concrete grinding/sanding and sealing within the combination of style and sealing material.

  • Concrete style
  • Warehouse (concrete sanding/grinding to perfume even level).
  • Shop fitting (concrete sanding/grinding exposing pebble –degree of exposure is discussed with client – imbedded in the concrete).
  • Shopping centre (concrete sanding/grinding to make even level and create patterns with flake on top to perform luxurious finish). 
  • Sealing material: waterproofing
  • Epoxy: Clear coating or chosen color.
  • Polyurethane: Clear coating to create barrier.
  • Epoxy + Polyurethane
  • Applying number of coating will be suggested and discussed with client

Concrete grouting is performed to fill up gaps and holes if necessary.
